97 XP steering

Anybody know of a fix for the steering on a 97 XP. It is really really hard almost impossible to turn at speed. You have to slow down to get it to turn at all. I know this is a pretty common problem and I was just wondering if anybody knew the fix? Thanks.

Check the cable and also the bushings and bearings... They may be broke if it is that hard to turn...
