Hi

I have a js550 1990 model and im having problems getting it started

The battery is ok, its had new gasket and seals, there is a spark at the correct time, fuel is entering the engine but there seems to be a lack of starter turning over power but the starter motor is ok

Any help would be really appreciated as my wife is really getting to me now and i need to get out the house!!

Thanks

Closing the spark plug gap can advance the timing and might help the problem... What I would do is the following:

1. Mill the stock head $50.00
2. Add a Primer kit $18.95
3. Advance the timing from the Stator $FREE

These will all make the craft start better and run better also...
