I am having a hell of a time with this trim system. I have replaced the motor because it tested bad, still no workey workey. I have 12volts coming from the relay .. but I also have 6 volts coming from the trim motor box to it (I am thinking I should not be reading voltage both ways) any sugestions??

If I am understanding this right,, no you should not have voltage coming from both directions. You have to have a path to ground for the circuit to work. 12VDC coming from one side and 6VDC from the other does not make a circuit??? Possibly a short in the wiring allowing another circuit to bleed into your trim circuit??? Are you blowing any fuses? Was there any fire or heat under the hood that could have melted a wiring harness/connector?

not that I have seen .. these things are imaculate. I am going to pull the motor and tear into the trim box yet again and TS everything in it.
