You can ride an XP two up, but if you will do it a lot that is not the ski for you. An RX-DI is a much more stable 2-up platform, and the DI motor is nice. Great economy, and very reliable. Just know- you won't be able to do many mods to a DI motor, if you are planning on doing mods get a carby. Just do your checking as you buy, check compression, ask about the pump oil (ever changed? if the give you a puzzled look...most likely not), look at how clean it is. Good Luck!
There is a buying guide out there somewhere, I once made a checklist. I will see if I can dig up either the checklist or the trhead for you.

The Rx hull is very large and you can easily ride two up. I have the RXX (currently for sale) and it is very easy for just about anyone to use even people a little heavy. The XP or XPL hull is more suited for solo riding but it is possible to ride two up. The DI is good on fuel. You might pull a 100 mile trip out of a full tank on a DI, around 60 on a carb model. If your looking for a good two up ski the RX hull should work well for you.
