my Pwc is leaking oil (i think) i have a 2001 gti and after riding for 2-4 hours there is this sludge in the engine compartment about two or three cup full Mixed water and oil is that normal it is white in color. how long should a gallon of oil last. is there any way of know that your engine is not getting oil

Sounds like you have a leaky tank or an oil line got disconnected. As far as how long it lasts, it depends on how hard you ride. I used to go down about 1 or 2 inches on a hard days ride if I remember right...I premix now for safety :)

If the motor isn't getting oil, it won't last long. The only real way to test is to premix the tank and unhook the lines, then run to motor and watch for oil to come out. Also check your cable adjustment, there is a mark on the pump and on the case, line them up.

There shouldn't be oil leaking anywhere, there might be water down there but no oil.
