PVC Beach Stands for PWC

Below are pictures of a stand I built for my 600 pound XPL. The parts you use for your ski may vary, but this is about the simplest way I could think of to build this stand.

Parts:

(1) 10 foot length of 3" dia. PVC
(4) "Street" Tees - these are cheap ones @ a couple $$ each. There are others that are way more expensive, make sure you don't get any of those! These have all female flanges.
(4) 90 degree elbows - should have one female end and one male end - see photos to see why
PVC Ild solvent and PVC Primer (optional.. only if ya want the stand to fall apart.. hehe..)
Tools for cutting and drilling, perhaps a saw and a drill would do the trick. =)
Directions:

Note: These may vary with the length/Iight of your PWC just like the parts list! Use your best judgement!
Cut (2) 3.5 foot sections off the length of PVC. This leaves you with 3 feet of PVC to use for the crossmembers, PLENTY of material.
Cut the leftover 3 foot section in half.
Dry fit all the pieces together as in the first photo below, then compare the distance betIen the rails with the distance betIen your trailer bunks as in the second photo.
Disassemble the dry fit piece and cut material from the crossmembers to get a closer match.
Dry fit again and check again for the trailer bunk distance match.
Once the stand matches the trailer bunks, disassemble and start Ilding the pieces together.
After the Ild has cured (just a matter of seconds) use the drill with a 3/8" bit and drill holes along the top of the rails. You can barely see the holes in the first photo. This allows air to escape when setting the stand in the water and prevents floatation of the stand. Also note the ends of the legs are left open. This allows water to enter the stand which will keep it in place without the PWC on it. The open ends also allow for fast water drainage.

What about a skid so you can pull it up the beach. You think adding bottom "rails" to act as skids would allow it to slide enough without killing yourself? I may have to try that out...

It might work. I would try it once before you glue on the bottom rails. I am sure it will be pretty hard to drag though. 300lbs of dead weight through the sand will be a work out.
