I have a potentially big problem on my hands I think, and need some of your opinions. I have a 2001 GPR 1200R with about 140 hours on it. I have heads, air filters, 14/19 prop, new ride plate and some minor mods on it at the moment. My friend and I put all the mods on ourselves and have had no problem whatsoever with the proformance until now. So, I was riding around the river going around 50 mph and it just stopped. Completely stopped. I couldn't start her up so a friendly neighbor came and dragged me in ( how embarrasing ). So I changed the battery and spark plugs and took it out last week. Was goin again, about 45 mph and she stopped on me. Luckly this time it started back up so that saved me some embarrasement. Now the ski is missing, she will run until about 30 mph max, I pin the throttle and it goes about 10 mph.

Any help would be greatly appriciated I can't go through the summer without my ski!

Compression check all 3 cylinders. I would bet that one cylinder is seizing on you. When you installed the air filters, you probably didn't change the jetting in the carbs, and my guess is that it's running lean enough to seize at higher rpm's.

I agree with Hotolds442... Check the compression on the cylinders...
