You can buy a BRAND NEW motor directly from Kawasaki for your boat, but be prepared to pay more than the boat is worth. SBT, in my opinion, is the way to go.

I was looking at SBT's website, and it sounds to me that they send you a rebuilt motor and you send them your broken one? If this is correct, how do you know that my core part is not better than the one they shipped me?

sorry, just nervous about getting someone elses motor that has been rebuilt

SBT is pretty thourogh...they clean everything, paint everything and use new parts on most of it. You will be ok, and they always have the warranty too.

SBT, ya right. Far too many horror stories, No thanks. You are a lot better off sending your engine to jetskimechanic. Robert stands behind all his work 100%. SBT may have this warranty but what do you do on days like today when the sun is out and your ready to ride,, waiting for your warranty engine to come back to you? Some people have told me that I should not voice my opinion because I have not used SBT,,, I offered to put an SBT engine to the test,,, it never happened. Robert's engine's have been tried and proven in very harsh conditions,,, still running strong. My money is with jetskimechanic. For those that do the surf ride,,, Robert built the engine in Christopher's SJ and we all know it get's well used.

Roberts place is the way to go imo. He did good by me when he rebuilt the race motor in my XP a few years back. Still runs like a champ after 2 years of hard riding. I am sure anyone else that has done business with him will say the same thing. Good luck!

SBT sounds like a nice option, but if you keep your jetski engine in good condition and is time for a rebuild, i will send it to jetskimechanic... i will prefer to have my own engine rebuild and just replace what is needed...

Great!!! I can vent a bit here!!! SBT will not put my banner on thier site because they say that I am a direct competetor??? Go figure??? Because I have an Engine rebuild page??? I dought it!!! I also emailed them a few times, about this and used humor in the note as I am probley the easiest going guy and they never even replied to me??? But anyway we are SO different!!!! First I rebuild YOUR motor so you don't get someone elses welded up cases or go from Standard bore right to 1mm or paint the entire motor after built to seal it up from leaking, or would modify the head or motor and still offer OUR ONE YEAR WARRENTEE!!! I do stand behind the work I do!!! Listen, we all work for a reason and if it was all about money I would be in my other bussiness's and make 10 fold what I do in this bussiness BUT!!! I found out a long time ago that life and work are to be FUN and not a PITA!!! SO when I am compared to SBT, Please don't... Do you think they have a Mechanic of my experiance putting your motor togehter??? I think not as I seen the video tour also!!! WOW!!! What a quad expresso can do to you at 5am!!! Peace Out Brothers!!! Oh BTW Guys, Thanks for the kind words!!! You have no idea what that does for a person since I do like feedback either way... Long live Jetskinews.com
