DATE CHANGE FOR THE SALTON SEA
We've been receiving a number of calls and e-mails for the past two, three days about the possibility of changing our November 1 date for the SALTON SEA TEAM ENDURANCE "300", to perhaps the following weekend. Many reasons were given but most were related to the Halloween weekend and the fact that some racers have comitments, parties, need to take their kids "Trick or Treat" and other activities.
We placed a call to the Salton Sea and asked them if there was a problem with our change. It seems they, too, have some special events on that weekend, so we've just received the OK to change the date from November 1, to SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2003.
This change will make it possible for a number of teams to make the event and be part of the "World's Longest Jet Craft Endurance Race and the APBA WORLD TEAM ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP." And we're happy about that.
We will endeavor to post this in as many places as we can, but we also appreciate it if you would pass the word around just in case. Once again:
