Where's the cool riding spots for jetski and pwc here?

Former AAAK resident 20 yrs, best ride Big lake 60 mi or so from anchorage. From ice out apr/may till nov/dec busy on weekends mid week you own it! canal systems to other lakes and large creeks, lot's o bars to party. Some free camping lot's of private prop so watch out you do not get shot I.E. obey all posts. Good folks up there. summer temps in the 80's lows upper 50's 20+ hrs of daylight mid june. Oh yeah, and the worlds best fishing. lol long ass drive from the states. I am in socal "today" any word mexico? baja, like san felipe or current status of lake mead?? "the river" and havasu mush too crowded for me *I am looking to explore and get lost. TodSki the freerider.

Some of the most beautiful PWC pictures I've seen are from up there, I think I'd like to go sometime.

AKRider420 here,I've lived up in Fairbanks,AK for the last 22+ yrs. We're located right smack dab in the middle of the state. The hot spot to ride up here is Harding Lake, it's about 45 mile's to the north of Fairbanks.It's got camp sites,kid's camp,great fishing,lots of partying,what else could you want.The water is warm on the edges but tends to cool off towards the middle. So if your ever up in "The Last Frontier" i highly recommend that you stop by and rip a few hotlaps! :twisted:

I lived in Anchorage for 8 years, and have to say Big Lake is the local hot spot. Tons of watercraft there, however some of the other cool spots I have riden are Lake Louise, Skilac Lake , Kachemak Bay (before they banned watercraft). Lake Louise is rather large and I remember down at the other end, the wind driven swells are just like the Ocean breakers. My wife and I have awsome riding experiences at these locations and even once in a half frozen river just north of town.(That was a but intense, but the people on the train sure got a show in early April.)
Now we are in Seattle and there is water just about everywere. No shortage of places to ride, just crowds. Jeff

Lake wasilla was my fav, being the closest ride to town. I spend a lot of time at sand/cambell lake, but you have to know someone who lives on them:(
