Colorado river near the Laughlin & Needle's area...

Visit Silverwood Lake often.. Not too bad. Lots of room to play

Pyramid Lake is large but has 35mph limit.

Castaic SUCKS. PWC's restricted to one area in one direction. Not allowed on main lake.

Just my 2 cents

NOR CAL checking in . I like Folsom, Camp Far West, Rollins, Trinity, Oreoville and Bullards Bar. Folsom is a beer free zone now on the shore and all the day use areas, kinda sucks, but it also keeps all the morons in boats and on skis in check. Folsom is at its peak with over 985,000 acres, but you got to watch out for all the debris floating around that keeps washing down from the Sierras. I was thinking about going to the Delta this weekend, with 1000 mph of waterways to explore I figure there has got to be a quite place to ride...then I member that this is the 4th. I think I will go play paintball instead, less chance of getting plowed by a drunk in his 32 ft Fountain.... :D

san diego bay, its saltwater. its a great place on sunday, cuz no commercial traffic. u get wakes of huge tourist boats and u get ppl cheering u on and taking pics. great place to show off. go to Glorrietta Bay Park, on Coronado Island. and it's great for family stuff cuz its got a fire pit for night and a little park for the kiddies and its nice.

PISMO BEACH!!!!!!! If you havnt been there, get yourself there! Camp right on the beach and bring your sand/dirt toys too. Riding the surf is a must have experiance! One big adreniline rush! Fall - spring seems to be the best timeing for weather - summer gets fogged in often. Pismo is also an all night party scene with people cruising the beach all night long, people ripping around on there dune buggies or quads till the break of dawn - its a happening place.

Since I live in Elsinore its very convenient, and any one who has not been to the Lake recently should be informed that the water quality is great now!

They put a lot of money into cleaning the water up, and the results were well worth it....youll notice some big under water fans now around the lake that keep the water moving.

And the water is warm. Last weekend there could not have been more than 30 PWC zooming around and not many more boats, so theres lots of space.

Check out the boat access only beach/inlet at the south end of the lake...thats where the party is at.

Thanks for the info about lake Elsinore. The last time I was there is was pretty creepy. It looked like the swamp thing or that oil blob from the twilight zone lived there. I'll have to go and check it this coming summer.

I loved Mission Bay in San Diego and Dana Point just north of San Diego. Water was great and the baby seals were cool too! I must see if you haven't been there! :)

Im from Elsinore and I honestly have very little to say about the lake that is good other than the fact that it is super close for me.

The lake isnt really all that nice, there is no real shoreline that you can follow and the rules are super strict. If an officer catches you doing any type of freestyle you will most likely get hasseled. Last summer i was practicing doing subs and fountains one day and got rushed by and officer on a sit down and patrol boat. Now mind you I was practicing on a weekday when there was like 4 people on the entire lake. The thing that really angered me was when i was creeping through the no wake zone on my way back to the launch ramp, the partol boat was hauling @$$ through the no wake zone. He was puting out a wake that i would have loved to jump if i was in the middle of the lake.

But regardless im there all the time becasue of the convience, and if anybody would like to ride out there anytime i would love to gain another ridding partner.

salt springs res outside of stockton has a 16 buoy closed course and real jetski slalmon in the water from april to oct.
nice riding with no police, and killing fishing too.
i go there every aug for a old timers - jetski reunion - party.
not too many jetski racers left for the late 80's and 90's in the sport.

We have been going to the Parker Strip for many years now. No speed limit, clean and warm water, overnite camping next to the river and a lots of pretty girls in tangas. It get rough in the afternoon but nothing you can't handle... Unless you happen to be there at the same time the monsoons are visiting :D

If you guys are ever around the Strip let me know so we can meet and ride together. Can't wait for the summer to come back!!!

fo a quik trip in SoCal, hit up the queen mary in long beach, if u dont care about salt water, out in the bay there can be rollers but not that often cause the break water and the tugboats and catalina boat that go thrugh throw off the biggest wake. when my dad owned my jetski he actually cracked the hull goin off the wake hahahaH i never got to on the ski but we have gone into the port of long beach on the boat and checked out them big ass containerships

or hit up Lake perris, if theres any water in it.... its been awhile last time i was there the water level was low as hell

and avoid lake smellsomemore i mean elsinore... place stinks(no pun intended)
