Come on down and join the short hop out to the point for some wave jumping (hopefully) and basic screwing around. 5pm at the Marysville FREE launch next to the State street bridge going over the river.

Crab - it's not looking good for me tonight. I got to work later than usual so will have to stay later to make up my time...

Unless <cough, snort> I get sick <cough, cough> suddenly, and have to leave <sniffle> early.

I'll try to make it, but it's not looking good.

Sorry I missed out... I got a little riding in at Camano State Park. OK waves - good regularity, but kinda small. My wife shot video of us riding. I guess I'm not as good as I thought...

Oh well, the still shots below look good.

I found out the "secret spot" on Whidbey Island where the surfers go, we need to take a road trip out and scope the wave action for ourselves.

Any idea how the access to the water is?

I'm heading out there at 2 pm to check it out. Going for a road trip in the Firebird.

Cool - is the firebird one of the projects tucked away in your garage?

Wanna pick me up on your way? I can meet you in Stanwood or at the I-5 Park and Ride...

I'm picking up my wife at Haggens in Stanwood, we are going out to look at the access and take some pictures. Then we are going car shopping in Anacortes, wouldn't be much fun for you.

I'll follow you guys out on my motorcycle then - give me a good excuse to break in some new rings...

Here's a link to some info and a pic of some beach I found while searching for surfing spots on Whidbey:

Ok fella's, here is the secret spot. Easy beach access if we have a few bodies and a cart. When the sea is angry, this place could be sick!Oh, and its over on Whidbey island.

Where exactly is this? Seattle area? Its actually on Whidbey island just south of Whidbey NAS. It faces Port Towndsend almost straight accross and to the left. Any weather coming in from the straights, should impact this beach, it has a nice right to left surf break I am told. It should take me about 1.5hr to drive around if there was no traffic.
Sorry Mike, I inadvertantly jacked my own thread. The Priest point ride is out of Everett, the other secret spot is over on the other side of the Island.
