1997 slt 700 problemshester346 08-17-2006, 02:08 PM On my 1997 SLT Polaris....I have had problems with no power.. It will start and idle but will not go full throttle... I clean the Carbs... Also the other day when I had it in the water after it was running in idle it started to make a loud alarm...i have the shop maunal but not the owners manual... ANy Help will Help!!!! want2board 09-09-2006, 11:51 AM don't know if this is your problem, but a couple years ago I had to replace the fues sensor because it stuck. It has a safety feature that prevents the engine from full throttle when you are near empty and an alarm will sound as well. if the sensor goes bad then it may think the gas tank is near empty even when full. what does your fuel guage say? | |
