I have an opportunity to pick up one of two VERY clean skis. The first is a 2000 Rx Millenium with 148 hours. It compression tested at 120 and 120. The ski was meticulously maintained and is in great shape. The price is $3000. The second ski is a 1999 GSX Ltd. with 85 salt water hours but absolutely no corrosion. I'll be compression testing it in the morning. The price on it is $2200 and it's also super nice. Both come with trailers, covers and life jackets. I'll be riding two up occasionally and wonder how both handle and accelerate with one/two people aboard. Which direction would you guys lean in ?

Thanks...Dave

Both of those are good prices! The RX info is good (stock compression is 130 on a calibrated gauge, so your 120 is good!).

It's all about preference. The GSXL will outperform the RX a little, but the RX will handle the chop better. Both are 2 seaters. The RX will be a little more stable in the rough too. The GSXL will be a little more manuverable and playful.

I, personally, would pick the GSXL.
