Best used ski on a budget?

I am looking for a used ski for 2k and under. There are a whole lot to choose from at my local dealers for this price and under, but I don't know what models are better then others. The dealer also said that if I told him what I was looking for and a price he will find me one.

I think a 2 seater is all I need and don't plan on pulling a wakeboard, but maybe a tube but not a must. Just want something that me and a passenger can take out a few times a summer and have fun on. Not looking for anything fancy or crazy fast, I can just ride the friends RXP for that.

The only expirence I have is 5 or 6 hours on a 2005 Seadoo RXP. Oh and all riding will be done in fresh water only.

have u looked at craigslist.com? go there find where u live and check out some jet ski's. and if ur lookin for a small 2 seater they have some older ones for only like $500.

try finding either an 95-96 seadoo xp or 97-99 spx.. the x-4 hull is great and has incredible handling... should easily be able to find one
