Here is the skinny! 29 & 30 May will be the first event Rec event of the year. I called around and found a place we can stay, Kila Hana Camperland. This is an official AWA event. If you are a AWA member you should have received the new Ride Magazine and the event is listed. This is a family rec event. We will be doing freeride in the surf. Also, we will have a freestyle competition. The #1 goal is to have a good time. The Kila Hana Camperland has a gathering hall that we can BBQ and hang out after the a day of riding in the surf. Make your reservations fast because space is limited. Our freeride events last year were a blast. If you have never been in the surf this is the time to do it bacause there will be plenty of us to help you out getting your ski in and out of the surf as well as keep you safe. Please let me know you will be attending.

I hear that. My wife is trippin on the weather. Right now it doesn't look all that swell for this weekend but that will not stop us. BEsides the weather doesn't look all that bad.

I gotta say that was one of the best weekends we've had in a long time! Even without my ski, (new cdi commin), I was able to get out in the waves thanks to Joe, Ryell, and Clint. I spent some time on Joe's (previously Ryell's) freestyle squarenose, then I bombed off everything and anything with a piped Blaster, topped it all off with a few nice waves with Clint's SXR. It was cool to see so many pwc guys and gals in and out of town all weekend. Everything went smooth as silk, well, cepts Joe's attemp to cartwheel, but I'll let him tell you bout that ;).
Rock!

Ya, wet sand grabs your ski! I came ripping into the beach on the Blaster. When it came to a stop the left side of my face kissed the front of the Blaster and my body did the rag doll dance. Sad I ride all weekend and don't get hurt, then get wasted on the beach. I'll have taco neck for a while.
