720 Flat spins
This is my favorite thing to do. Sit down models can do it... with lots of practice, and very flat water. First practice your 360's and as you get comfortable, work your way into a 540... and then try a 720.
To do this, you must have smooth as glass water, and the will to turn the handlebars fast and hard at full throttle.
Many have seen me do this. many have tried it. Many have fallen off. They try to do it right from the start. Remember... it takes practice.

I have tried many times on the XPL, RX, and GTX hull and could not do it. The X4 hull is perfect for doing these spins. I tried trowing ski's into full spins at different speeds I got up to 50 MPH and started hurting myself so I gave up on doing this with the large watercraft. What have we learned,,, small is better

LOL. The only skis I was able to accomplish this on is both my 96 SPX, and my friend's 97 SPX. It must be something about the size of the ski, and the hull design. I'm sure there are other skis out there that can do it... it's just a matter of finding which one.
Yes, in this case, smaller is better... and practice makes perfect.
Remember, the water MUST be as SMOOTH AS GLASS.
I don't think a 3 seater can pull off a 720. The furthest I've gotten one was barely a 540... if that. It's just too long. Also, the way you shift your weight has something to do with it. Don't lean as if you were going to turn. Try to keep the PWC as level as possible. Careful!!! Don't lean the opposite way though. You WILL get pitched.
One other thing I almost forgot... If your ski is equipped with an electronic trim setting, you want that set dead center.

On my Kawasaki STX-15F, I've been able to do a 540. I tried going faster to get a bigger spin but I couldn't hold on.

i can only do a 40mph 540 on my zxi 1100 but i do it with the trim up and it seems to work better for me. does doing spins like tht hurt the motor at all even if you let the gas off once you go into a spin so it isnt revving up
