How To Make a Very Cheap Jet Ski Holder/Cart

I made a cart for my 650SX today. I made it in under 5 minutes with very minimal tools, and the parts to make one can be obtained very easily with little or no money. Thats right, my stand cost me ZERO dollars to build!

It seems pretty sturdy, I put my 650 on it today and pulled the pump out of it laying under it. Also I can roll it really easy on my concrete floor even laying under it using one hand I could move it or spin it around.

I built my out of ASB. Pvc will work just as fine and is much cheaper, just dont keep it in the sun cause pvc get brittle over time.

stand ups right? because i dont think pvc will work for my 800 pounds waverunner ....

Yeah there is no way this would hold your waverunner, it holds my 650 with no problem though.

Ok sorry it took so long for me to post up, the pictures arent too great but I'm tired and its dark out so you'll have to live with it on this one.

Ok now the forum is Jet Ski On A Budget, here it is a budget way to make a stand/cart with little to no money.

I have been using this cart for about a week now, I have layed under it, leaned on it, shook the ski and its still holding up just fine. Its not the perfect thing but remember the topic here is cheap.

This cart isnt going to hold those couches some of you own but it works great for my 650, probley even better for the 440/550 people.

Ok so one night I am coming home, everynight I drive through my alley to check on my garage doors and stuff to make sure nothing is wrong. About a block down I saw this thing and right away this idea popped into my head.

Later that night I walked down the alley and got it and pushed it home. Now I know not everyone has one of these laying around but I'm sure most guys like myself can come up with one pretty easily.

Ok anyways enough of this long talk lets get on with it.

So here is what I found...............

Ok so what I did was I took it home and grabbed my Sawzall and I just went at it for a couple of minutes cutting the whole top half off. I cut it where the arrows are pointing.

And here is the end result that I had..........

It seems to be holding just fine and it is really easy to move. Next time I move the ski off of it I am going to attach a couple of 2x4's to it and cover it with carpet so it has something nicer to sit on.

The hardest thing about the whole project was picking the ski up and putting it onto it which I did by myself. Its nice though it sits about flush with my tailgat of my truck for easy loading.

I didnt knew that the shooping carts are growing wild in the street jungle!...
that makes the whole thing cheaper....you just need.... a sawzall....

A hacksaw would even work and be even lower budget!

But yeah carts are all over the place, I think they are fairly easy to get ahold of in most cities.
